What we are looking for…

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Creative to join our company's content team. As the Head of Creative, you will be responsible for managing a team of talented designers and animators, and leading the creative direction for our brand. This is a key senior role where you will have the opportunity to shape and elevate our brand through innovative and compelling visual design.


What you will do…

Creative Strategy

  • Develop and execute the creative strategy to ensure an inspiring, consistent and visually engaging brand identity across all platforms.
  • Work with the VP of Brand and Content to translate brand guidelines into actionable creative concepts.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge.

Team Leadership

  • Lead and inspire a team of designers and animators, fostering a collaborative and creative work environment.
  • Provide mentorship, guidance and feedback to help team members grow professionally and deliver high-quality work.
  • Delegate tasks effectively, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Represent the creative team and perspective within the business and externally.

Branding and Visual Identity

  • Oversee the development and maintenance of the brand's visual identity, ensuring consistency across all marketing materials, campaigns, and digital assets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product and development, to ensure brand alignment and cohesion.

Creative Direction

  • Conceptualise and execute innovative and visually compelling designs for our product, incorporating user experience best practices.
  • Develop and maintain style guides, design systems, and templates to streamline the design process and maintain brand consistency.

Project Management

  • Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and quality control.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define project objectives, requirements and timelines.
  • Engage and work closely with external creative agencies and freelancers, as necessary, to meet project goals.




Requirements

What you will bring...

  • Training or a degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a senior creative role, with a strong portfolio showcasing exceptional design skills and creative vision.
  • Demonstrated experience managing and leading a team of designers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work culture.
  • Expertise in graphic design tools and software, such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.).
  • Experience of marketing design and overseeing video creation.
  • Solid understanding of branding principles and visual identity development.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively articulate creative concepts and ideas.
  • Experience of AI design tools is a plus.
