We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join the Operations Strategy Team in the role of Senior Strategy Associate. In this role, you will support the Strategy Lead in overseeing and driving the development, design, delivery, and continuous improvement of the bank wide operations strategy.
More specifically, this means:
- Supporting / driving the development and management of a ‘strategic planning’ capability, bringing together multi-year investment prioritisation and outer year planning
- Supporting / driving the development of KPIs / OKRs to track and monitor the implementation of the strategy
- Contributing to senior management decisions by building and analysing MI to draw conclusions and identify opportunities
- Creating and evaluating businesses cases and roadmaps for strategic projects
- Developing and maintaining relationships with business management and transformation teams across operations
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
- Experienced strategy / management consultant or experience from an in house strategy / consulting / COO team
- Experienced in developing multi-year operational / functional strategies, ideally in a financial services setting
- Experienced in creating strategic plans (incl. financial modelling), ideally in a financial services setting
- Excellent analytical reasoning and problem-solving ability in ambiguous situations
- Experienced in working with executive stakeholders (CEOs/COOs/CIOs)
- Experienced in delivering board and executive level materials (presentations and papers)
- A background in running workshops to define and continuously review strategies.
