Could you be the Senior Social Worker we are looking for to join our dedicated Children in Care Team? Are you an experienced Social Worker, committed to building relationships and improving outcomes for our Children in Care? We require a Social Worker with at least four years post qualifying experience, who has demonstrable experience of practicing at a Senior Social Worker level. You will have experience of managing highly complex cases and mentoring staff. You will be child focused, reliable and skilled in completing direct work with young people. In this role you will hold a case load of children and young people aged between 0 - 16yrs who hold a Care Plan or Pathway Plan for long term care outside of their parent's care. You will be required to fulfil statutory duties on behalf of the service and act as the corporate parent on behalf of the Local Authority. In addition to a range of case management duties you will be required to complete life journey & direct work with children and young people as well as promoting and supporting family time with their birth families. You will join an established, supportive and friendly team. You will receive regular reflective supervision and have access to high quality training.
