Job Description


Working within an extremely busy design and artwork studio, based on site in the clients head office in Weybridge. You will be able to provide skilled and technically accurate input and support on all aspects of the artwork production process across all channels for the P&G brand portfolio.

We are looking for an experienced, multi-disciplined Senior Shopper Designer to work in our fast paced and fun design studio at PG One. You will get the opportunity to work on a broad range of assets for some of the world’s biggest brands. Our clients are ambitious and always looking for cutting-edge design, so there will be no shortage of exciting challenges and portfolio-enhancing work. You will need to be a good creative problem solver and team player with a strong portfolio and relevant design experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Edit, prepare and adapt artwork across a range of media including; in-store POS, press adverts, print and digital.
  • Create and develop designs and visuals, brand guidelines, toolkits,
    digital, social media, print ads and OOH.
  • Work with the artwork and design team to ensure the integrity of the original design concepts.
  • Use your creative experience to deliver design and artwork solutions across all media.
  • Understand and work within brand and corporate guidelines.
  • Provide high quality retouching of images and photography.
  • Use your experience and knowledge to identify and resolve design, artwork, print and production challenges.
  • Using best practice, work together with the studio team to exceed client expectations, delivering high quality work on time every time.
  • Communicate progress at every stage of the artwork process for the smooth running of projects and planning schedules.
  • Understand the company’s quality management and file management systems and employ a methodical approach to file organisation.
  • Provide the business with best value by estimating and managing time accurately ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest quality.
  • Responsible for continuous personal development and learning, helping to identify objectives and opportunities for skills development.
  • Working on multiple projects/tasks of varying complexity, meeting your assigned deadlines.
  • Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams, following the correct design processes to creating high quality deliverables ensuring solutions meet the creative and client objectives.
  • A good team player who supports and encourages other team members when required.
  • Ensuring that design and creative projects are delivered on time and accurately following brand guidelines.

Key competencies

  • Excellent Adobe Creative Suite skills – particularly Indesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
  • In-depth understanding of brand guidelines
  • Disciplined approached with a keen eye for detail
  • An understanding of After Effects/Premiere and basic 3D visualising capabilities
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating design and artwork competency across the full range of media, PoS, print and digital work for clients within the consumer industry
  • Thorough understanding of studio, artwork and pre-press print production processes
  • Exceptional photoshop retouching skills
  • Excellent typography, layout and typesetting skills
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to balance multiple projects and priorities to meet deadlines
  • Proven experience of creating high quality designs for advertising campaigns
  • Good working knowledge of online and offline design, brand development, creative process, digital platforms

Qualifications/ experience

  • Experience working on design and artwork brand implementation projects
  • Highly motivated and organised and able to manage your own projects
  • Good interpersonal skills, friendly and approachable
  • Able to work calmly under pressure
  • Ability to work logically with a proactive approach
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
