About the Role: As a Senior Service Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the Service Department, providing exceptional support to Service Contract customers. Collaborating closely with the After Sales Coordinator, you will conduct scheduled maintenance visits, perform servicing and maintenance, and efficiently handle breakdown visits. Your expertise will be instrumental in maintaining accurate callout sheets, asset registers, and customer records. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to mentor and guide junior engineers, contributing to the growth and success of the team.

Key Responsibilities:
- Execute scheduled maintenance visits in accordance with Service Contract agreements and update asset registers after each preventative maintenance visit, providing feedback to the After Sales Coordinator.
- Support and guide the After Sales Coordinator and junior engineers, demonstrating a strong sense of responsibility and teamwork.
- Conduct all service visits as required, ensuring timely completion of Service Reports and proactive communication with customers and the After Sales Coordinator.
- Perform on-site repair works as needed, documenting all necessary paperwork and maintaining seamless communication with the After Sales Coordinator.
- Liaise effectively with the After Sales Coordinator regarding incoming Service Calls, attending bookings, and promptly providing valuable feedback.
- Participate in follow-up service visits, diligently tracking and addressing outstanding issues to ensure customer satisfaction and adherence to schedules.
- Maintain accurate records and present necessary paperwork to the After Sales Coordinator, ensuring data is up-to-date and precise.
- Contribute to the out-of-hours on-call rota for service cover, ensuring 24/7 support to customers (rotational basis).
- Assist with any other duties as required by your line manager to ensure the smooth functioning of the Service Department.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in a service engineering role within the Audio Visual and Technological industry.
- Knowledge of integrated Audio Visual systems, their maintenance requirements, and related software and hardware.
- Ability to adapt to and troubleshoot unfamiliar programmed systems, utilizing knowledge from similar setups.
- Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail and record-keeping.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and mentor junior team members.
- Full clean driving license (minor points will be considered).
Desirable Skills:
- CEDIA and/or InfoComm accreditation.
- Proficiency in programming Lutron, iLight, Crestron, and AMX systems.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £38,000.00-£43,000.00 per year
