Engineers for the world’s polymer industry. We manufacture new and rebuilt internal mixers ranging from 1.5 litres to 620 litres. We manufacture tangential and intermeshing mixers
We are looking for an experienced Store Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all store operations,
Responsibilities:
- Organise stores, keep clear and tidy, everything labelled up and stored safely
- Ensure the racking is in good order (monthly checks)
- Check and book in items from suppliers or finished components from the shop floor and update the PL
- Check followers for finished components are completed and scanned to the job file with the PL
- Match delivered items with followers and ensure they marked up correctly and issued to the shop floor with the correct follower and drawing in a timely manor
- Pack and arrange couriers or delivery by us, of spares orders, taking photos of the items before and after they are packed and uploading them to the part list folder
- Arrange weighing, packing, shipping and loading of machines or large items - taking photos of all items before and after packing, keeping them in the PL file
- Arranging paperwork for shipping to be sent and agreed with the customers and liaising with the customer in regards to the delivery schedule and off loading
- Obtaining signed delivery notes for all orders (or collection notes if EXW)
- Stock control- setting and maintaining re order levels for stock/consumable & PPE items
- Issuing PPE and Uniforms according to the SOP
- Vehicle maintenance - completing the check lists and arranging MOT and repairs
- FLT Maintenance
- Ladder checks are carried out in line with HSE, Marked up and maintained
- COSHH register is updated and maintained
- Picking and issuing parts to the jobs, issuing sub assemblies to the fitting shop in kit form to be built up
- Allocating and labelling up areas for specific jobs
- Ensuring if anything is used off one project for a different one that a req is sent to purchasing to replace
- Stock transfers on sage or via e mail for anything that is used on a job from stores
- Ensuring all parts that have been issued to but not used on a job are put back into stock
- All machines have airlines and these are maintained
- All hand tools are maintained
- Checking parts lists for stock, allocating the stock to the job and physically putting the items in the area labelled up for that job
- Checking stores for materials when issued the drawings from production within a few days
- Arranging for cutting of materials when requested by production
- Arranging collections from local supppliers and subcontracters - with paperwork
- Maintaning a log of bar and material in stock
- Assisting ISO in the monthly audit for stores
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £35,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
