Job description
We are looking for an experienced Senior Restructuring Associate who is ready to tackle complex business challenges and make a real impact, with a leading and vibrant Private Equity Investment Fund.
Our client is a leading PE firm and Corporate Finance Investment fund, operating in the mid-market. The client specializes in providing solutions for situations that are too difficult for more traditional sources of capital to navigate. Whether supporting a management team through a complex business transition or helping a bank exit a troubled loan, this firm is a strong and effective capital source for challenging situations.
As a Senior Associate, you will take risks, adopt change, and have innovative ideas in our Restructuring business. You'll work with a team of experts who provide financial advisory services to companies, lenders, creditors, and other interested parties in distressed situations across virtually every industry.
Is this role right for you?
· We are looking for a team player who is willing to engage in a supportive and collaborative work environment.
· You'll be responsible for undertaking detailed financial analysis of statutory accounts, management information, short-term cash flow forecasts, and longer-term integrated forecast models.
· You'll work closely with case managers and senior staff, assisting the advisory team to handle a variety of non-formal restructuring and advisory assignments as well as M&A cases.
· You will also be responsible for assuming client relations and liaising with clients, clients' employees, whilst delivering optimum results for our client. With the assistance of clients and historic financial information, you'll create forecasts, draft Information Memorandums, and maintain stakeholder relations.
The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years' experience at a top 20 UK accountancy or restructuring practice or equivalent and will have a strong academic background, ideally with a relevant accounting qualification. As a collaborative and driven individual with vibrant leadership skills, you’ll be empowered to influence others as well as being a collaborative problem solver. You'll be comfortable in a rapidly changing environment and able to manage risk effectively. Furthermore, insolvency qualifications and experience would be beneficial, they are not essential.
Join the team and contribute to a dynamic and engaging work environment where we embrace diverse backgrounds and global perspectives as well as having the opportunity to excel and make a real difference.
