Job description
We are delighted to be recruiting a Senior Research Development Manager.
The role provides an exciting opportunity to contribute to delivering the University of Liverpool¿s research and impact ambitions. While you may work on projects that span the whole University, this role will primarily focus on supporting the research aspirations of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences.
The role is varied, from horizon scanning and scoping projects with leading academics through to project managing large strategic bids, developing funder relationships and supporting early career academics in applying for prestigious fellowships. You will work independently with academics advising on funding drivers and helping to forge links across the institution, to create and strengthen networks that contribute to the university¿s research ambitions.
You will have a Degree or equivalent qualification and relevant research development experience. You will be a self-starter, team player and enjoy collaborative working. You will have strong facilitation skills with the flexibility to manage multiple priorities and adapt to the rapidly evolving research funding landscape.
The role is offered on a fixed term basis until May 2025. Opportunities to undertake the role part time or flexibly will be considered.
The University has the right to close the vacancy early if it is deemed that there have been enough applications received
