Job description
About the role
This exciting opportunity will see you supporting Children’s Services with their recruitment requirements. The aim is to work solely in partnership with the Directorate to fully understand their recruitment needs and recommend the best solution.
You’ll work with hiring managers to suggest the most cost effective resourcing and selection methods, writing engaging recruitment adverts and optimising social media channels, tracking the success of different media sources, ensuring this is continuously aligned to the services vision and strategy.
In addition to direct recruitment sourcing, there will be an element of the role that will support the management of the agency workforce requirement within the service as part of the agreed framework.
A key focus of the role will be to promote good practice resourcing across the organisation including facilitating workshops with hiring managers and ensuring adherence to relevant policies and processes.
About you
Highly experienced and knowledgeable in best practice resourcing and selection, you will understand the challenge of recruiting in a public sector/local government organisation.
You will have a proven track record in direct to market recruitment, including writing job board advertisements and social media database searches.
A team player, you’ll be able to build relationships at all levels and effectively challenge current thinking.
This is a fantastic opportunity to make your mark in a challenging role, allowing you to bring your best practice resourcing expertise to an organisation that really makes a difference to the lives of the residents of Swindon.
