Your role
The REPM Investment Specialist team is responsible for driving sales and client activities across the full range of REPM capabilities and offerings, acting as a bridge between investment teams and client relationship managers.
As a member of the REPM Investment Specialists team, you will work closely with senior investment leadership to implement strategic distribution initiatives, develop effective marketing collateral , coordinate fundraising activities, and manage client relationships.
Key responsibilities
- Business Development:
o Work closely with institutional, wholesale and wealth management channels to drive new fund and mandate opportunities by contributing to RFPs
o Actively engage with investment teams to create innovative client-oriented sales collateral including pitchbooks, DDQs, track records and other investor collateral and deliver engaging digital campaigns, sales events and roadshows
- Client service:
o Support onboarding process for new investors in conjunction with operations, fund administrators and client relationship managers
o Prepare for and participate in investor meetings, usually acting as an asset class specialist alongside the portfolio management team
Your team
The Real Estate & Private Markets Multi-Manager business as a whole manages over USD 53bn across a variety of commingled and separate account solutions. You will cover Real Estate Multi-Manager’s global footprint, with exposure to senior stakeholders and significant scope for personal development. Today, the REPM Investment Specialist team has members on the ground in the UK, Switzerland, Italy, Germany, the US, Canada, Tokyo and Singapore.
Your expertise
- 7-10 years of relevant work experience a majority of which spent in alternatives
- Deep knowledge of private markets investment strategies and private fund documentation,
- An understanding of the investor landscape, though specific investor relationships are not required
- Capable of articulating sophisticated ideas, both verbally and in writing, with experience speaking credibly and clearly with regard to alternative investments
- Commercially minded, with the proven ability to take responsibility and stay focused on objectives with a can-do attitude
- A low-ego, as comfortable working independently, as in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
- Outstanding work ethic, well organized and able to work with different stakeholders and across cultures, functions and geographies
- Further professional qualifications (e.g. CFA, CAIA) are important
- Foreign language skills would be a plus
- Good level of skill with Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
