Our Kelso team is expanding! We are looking for a part-time Veterinary Receptionist to join our busy mixed-practice. Are you the right person to join our tight knit team?
At Galedin we pride ourselves on our client care, and in this role your strong interpersonal skills will be key to developing and maintaining our client relationships.
Your principal areas of responsibility will be to provide a first-class friendly and efficient service whilst welcoming clients, dealing with queries and booking appointments (face to face and by telephone), and taking and recording payments.
Previous experience of working in a veterinary or agricultural environment will be beneficial, although it is not essential as training will be provided.
What is essential, however, is your ability to demonstrate an excellent track record in the delivery of customer service to a very high standard.
In addition to the above, you must be computer literate, numerate, and possess excellent time management skills.
Hours of work are expected to be 29 hours per week. The role additionally fulfils a Saturday morning rota from 8.30am to 12.30pm on a rotational basis. The working pattern for this position is expected to be; Monday off, Tuesday full day, Wednesday afternoon, Thursday full day, Friday full day. A flexible approach is desirable to provide cover for any planned holidays or unplanned absence. We may also ask you to occasionally work at one of our other practices.
