An opportunity to play your part. Reporting to Head of Testing Services this is an exciting time to be joining Centrica’s Service Transition function, overseeing technical test assurance and governance ensuring the best use of QA/test tools, techniques, and practices. This key function will help Quality Assurance / Testing Service on improving test approach to operational excellence, API, performance, release, technical and automation testing.
The day to day
- Ensure test automation framework standards are created and followed.
- Responsible for providing recommendations for various tools based on evaluation of different technologies and requirements for each Business unit/Product team.
- Evaluate, select, and formulate best usage of test tools and future alignment for different products and applications.
- Assure test automation as a centralized service across business units leveraging the testing service and other 3rd party suppliers where required.
- Ensure test automation framework standards are created and followed.
- Continuously sharing knowledge and educating others on responsible DevOps practices.
- Leading the QA team in designing QA test procedures.
- Conducting analysis checks on product specifications.
- Interact with Third party Suppliers, Stakeholders for query resolution.
- Work on building quality driven engineering culture that helps deliver products features rapidly and with good confidence.
- Service Management – Assurance and governance of testing service and deliverables.
- Support, assure and govern the non-functional test strategy including Performance, Security, Operational acceptance and Accessibility.
