The CompanySenior Python Engineer (Python Django GraphQL) Is required to join a VC backed start up building a B2C product to help parents all over the world gain access to services for their children. Having found market fit and now experiencing exponential growth this company is looking for a senior backend engineer, skilled in python, to join the team and help scale the backend of this platform as they scale internationally. This is a great opportunity to join an extremely well backed business, that is providing a social good, at an early stage and take them to the next level.
Job Description
The RoleAs a Senior Python Engineer, you will work closely with engineering leadership to build and own the backend development of this new platform. Identifying bottlenecks and potential problems so that this platform is scalable and stable. You’ll work with engineering leadership to build out backend API’s and implement best practices in terms of code quality and testing.
This is an IC role but in time you will be the most senior backend figure in the business and could potentially grow into a leadership position.
About You
- You’ll have strong Backend Skills in Python in particular with Django
- You’ll have experience working in an AWS environment
- You’ll have experience owning and building B2C products from scratch or owning major features set Developments.
- You’ll have an in depth knowledge of working in a fast paced agile environment where software engineering best practices like unit testing and integration testing are crucial.
This is a fully remote UK based role where you’ll very occasionally be required to travel to the London very Occasionally (once a month).
