If so, we are looking for an experienced Senior Project Surveyor MEP to join our expanding team in Aldgate Tower, London to work on a variety of exciting projects. You will be joining a team of like-minded experts that have a passion for innovation and delivering cutting edge solutions.

About Our Team:
The Engineering Services and Utilities Team sits within the London Cost Management Team. We specialise in the Cost Management of Engineering Services and Utilities in a broad range of sectors and end markets

Job Responsibilities:
You will lead the MEP Cost Management Team on Healthcare projects, taking responsibility for successful delivery. Also providing effective support and mentoring to Cost Managers, Graduates and Apprentices. You will ensure that commissions are managed and completed efficiently, on time and to the client’s satisfaction. You will develop strong reciprocal relationships with clients and members of the project team and be the primary interface with AECOM clients (new and existing). You will ensure that all staff members reporting to you have current and relevant training and manage the delivery of cost management team outputs, in accordance with agreed timescales and quality standards. You will provide full MEP Cost Management duties to AECOM clients.

You will need to be from a consultancy or client organisation with excellent communication skills and the ability to deliver services with a Client focused perspective

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements :

  • Significant proven experience in a consulting environment providing MEP Healthcare CM services including Pre Contract Estimating; Procurement; Contract Administration, Cost Reporting and Final Account resolution.
  • Passionate about delivering high-quality consulting services to our clients.
  • Understanding of JCT and NEC standard forms of contract.
  • Proven ability to advise clients and design teams on cost, value and risk, not just cost in isolation.
  • Excellent IT Skills and the ability to utilise digital measurement, cost planning and tender document tools shall be essential.
  • Excellent numeracy, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Willingness to challenge in a positive and engaging manner
Preferred Qualifications :
  • Degree Qualified – BSc or MSc – in Quantity Surveying / Cost Management
  • Professionally Qualified – ideally Chartered Quantity Surveying Status with the RICS, CIOB or other equivalent institution
