Hyde is looking to recruit a Senior Project Manager (Void Disposals) to manage a small team and oversee a void disposal programme, coordinating the refurbishment of assets in preparation for sale on the open market.
Responsibilities
- Lead on all disposals as they relate to residential void asset stock, and commercial property.
- Managing and coordinating the work of Void Asset Managers and a Project Manager in the refurbishment of properties ready for disposal.
- Reviewing and validating business plans for individual assets to ensure the best value for an asset is being realised and the most appropriate disposal route is taken (e.g. individual sale/portfolio sale or major works-deconversion., extension etc).
- Managing and co-ordinating all property related information and compliance documentation provided by third party consultants , to be provided to a purchaser.
- Working with the Analyst and Project Manager , in monitoring and managing project spend against an annual budget.
- Working with the void disposals sales manager in ensuring all property information is provided prior to the property or portfolio being prepared for sale.
- Accurately reporting on the Void Disposal Programme delivery, monitoring progress on works and against the annual target.
- Liaising with the Sales manager to provide a response to any property related enquiries
- Reviewing legal, property and contract documents in detail to ensure suitability for sale.
- Undertake legal due diligence and assessment of potential land sales and support the Asset Facilitator on land sale transactions.
- Assist in review of revision of policies and procedures relating to the void disposal programme.
- Oversight and responsibility for the Major Works (extensions, deconversions etc) refurbishment programme
Skills and Experience Required
- Exposure to Registered Provider (RP) Refurbishment Programmes
- Strong commercial awareness
- Knowledge of UK residential sales process
- Real estate legal due diligence experience
