Position: Senior Project Manager – New Business
Salary: Circa £60,000 per annum + £5,000 Car Allowance
Location: Remote with Travel
About Your Role
Reporting directly into a member of our Senior Leadership Team, you will play a vital part in developing and shaping our strategic business development plan. You will be responsible for sourcing new properties and land, delivering new services and growing capacity in line with the development plan. Your day to day duties will include;
- Raising the profile of Consensus with established stakeholders and identify new stakeholders within your area.
- Supporting Operations and the Senior Leadership Team to influence commissioners through developing key relationships.
- Working with Managing Directors and Director of Referrals and Partnerships, identify and pursue business development opportunities, and support them in developing and delivering presentations and undertaking commissioning and contracts negotiations.
- Liaising with external partners (building contractors, surveyor, planning officials, architects etc) to deliver development projects on time, on budget and to the required quality and specification.
- Establishing good relationships with Commissioners and understand their market position statements and need for new capacity
- Acting as ‘project sponsor’ for capital projects.
- Preparing and executing clear project plans alongside the Area Director for New Business, including objectives, deliverables, timescales, and business risk identification, assessment and management.
You will need;
- Experience working with external partners such as building contractors, surveyors, architects, planning officers
- Skilled and knowledgeable in creative and person centered approaches to working with people
- Clear understanding of confidentiality, safeguarding & equal opportunities (equality & diversity).
- Understanding of current care practices, government initiatives & regulatory requirements.
- Ability to lead and work as part of a cross functional team.
