What you'll do We are currently working on envisaging, defining and building the next generation of Sky’s digital and physical products. We are taking a big step in broadening the breadth of services and experiences offered by Sky! Own the ideation, development and launch of platform features and capabilities. Bring together engineers, designers, and departments from around the company to find creative solutions that tackle today’s problems while optimising for tomorrow’s vision. Partner with Product and Technical Leads to understand partners’ requirements and take ownership for translating them into product requirements. Become comfortable with ambiguity and guide product definition, prioritizations, and scope, in concert with multi-functional teams. Balance delivery with reliability and management of tech debt. Communicate strategy, plans and progress to stakeholders and C-level executives. What you'll bring Curiosity and ability to think creatively, while applying a thorough, evidence-based approach to product management and innovation. Knowledge of product management and engineering best practices in an agile environment . Effective written, verbal, and visual communication skills to explain complex ideas simply. Solid technical acumen and documentation skills. A collaborative approach and ability to work with distributed, cross-functional teams. A passion for understanding and evangelizing new technology. Bonus points for: Experience defining and developing new products or services. Experience shipping developer tools and experiences, such as APIs and SDKs. Technical background as a developer, architect, or analyst.
