The Microsoft Search, Assistant, and Intelligence (MSAI) group is leading this effort. We are working to change the lives and work of hundreds of millions by building deep intelligence into Search, Recommendation and Knowledge powered scenarios that people use every day in Outlook, Teams, Windows, Edge, Office, SharePoint, and OneDrive. By understanding our user’s preferences, communication patterns and context across applications we can proactively and reactively help users accomplish more with less effort.

We are looking for an experienced Product Manager who can apply product mindset with a proven track record of shipping at scale AI enabled intelligent user facing experiences to drive proactive and assistive recommendation products for Microsoft 365 AI.

As a Senior Product Manager in MSAI you would work in an exciting and fast-paced environment, collaborating closely with teams across the company. You will work as part of an organization that brings together talent in the areas of user experience, large language models, recommender systems, machine learning, deep learning, graph learning, information retrieval, software engineering, and responsible AI.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the best user experience for personalized content recommendation and copilot experiences in M365.
  • Create a clear growth plan and engagement metrics for their areas and develop a product roadmap and backlog that power assistive experiences across the M365 product space including M365 Copilot, Bing AI, Outlook, Teams, Office, SharePoint, Windows, Edge, and others.
  • Collaborate closely with research scientists, engineers, UX teams, AI platform teams, and fellow product managers to bring to reality the next generation of AI products.
  • Study user needs through qualitative and quantitative methods to build the most relevant and effective recommendation products for collaboration and productivity across M365.

Qualifications

  • Significant years of product managenment experience.
  • BS/BA degree, MS preferred in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
  • Demonstrated strong performance in prior roles.

  • Passion for artificial intelligence within software products.
  • Proven track record of delivering innovative software products/services to market.
  • Strong understanding of business needs and translating that into technical capabilities.
  • Ability to handle ambiguity and rapid change while staying true to customer needs through experimentation and customer studies.
  • Proven track record of effectively collaborating across teams and organizations in matrixed environments.
  • Strong verbal/written communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Team player, confident, independent and enthusiastic.
