Are you looking for a new role to progress in your career? Would you like a new challenge with a leading food manufacturer? My client is looking for a Senior Process Technologist to join their fast paced and exciting team.
The Role:
Reporting to the Process Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for,
- Working closely with the NPD and production team in the successful launch of new products.
- Standing in for the Process Manager if required
- Planning and running factory trials and complete factory trial paperwork
- Ordering ingredients for trials, chase up suppliers, keep a raw material ingredient tracker updated and raise PO’s when required
- Collecting, labelling and sending Shelf Life and Nutritional samples to Microsearch from Trials and book into the Microsearch system
The Candidate:
- Degree or equivalent qualification in a food science-based subject is preferable or Advanced Food Hygiene qualification
- Previous experience and understanding in a process/NPD role within food manufacturing
- Must have strong rapport building abilities
- Work collaboratively or independently
- Effective project and time management
- Thermal processing background preferred but not essential
The Package:
- Salary up to £35,000
