Digital Development

Principal Architect, Digital Architecture
Working at our iconic office in King’s Cross, London, and virtually via Microsoft Teams

Your new role
At NewDay

Working alongside the Principal Engineers, you’ll drive and be a shining example of technical excellence within NewDay Digital. Reporting to a Distinguished Engineer and supporting the other Heads of Digital – you’ll guide and educate the teams in the organisation on crafting outstanding solutions to our high-level challenges of our Platform.

By taking the visions and goals of the Digital leadership team – you’ll help build the maps that guide our delivery teams towards success. While not responsible for the lower-level implementation details – you’ll work closely with Lead Engineers and Product Owners to help them ensure strategic, compliance, resiliency and security goals are appropriately factored into their designs.

You’ll educate, advise and inspire the wider Digital team directly though contributions such as – but not limited to - writing for our blog, presenting on technical topics and mentorship. You’ll be a champion instilling our vibrant culture here in NewDay Digital.

We're a relatively small, but impactful and valued team! We roam throughout the company as needed, meaning you'll gain a wide range of experience and many great relationships with the team.

At NewDay, we value all types of diversity. We’re an equal opportunity employer and believe that our differences create a vibrant, authentic working culture. We want all our colleagues to feel able to bring their whole selves to work. We don’t discriminate on the basis of age, physical or mental disability, gender reassignment, marriage and civil partnership, pregnancy and carer status, race (including colour, nationality, and ethnic or national origin), religion or belief, sex and sexual orientation. We make sure that every job is crafted to be inclusive and that people with disabilities or caring responsibilities can take part in the application and interview process. Tell us if you need accommodations: we’ll put reasonable adjustments in place to support you.
