Job description
We have an exciting opportunity for a physiotherapy assistant to join our Children's Therapy Service to support our Chorley & South Ribble team. If you are enthusiastic and forward thinking then this role is for you. You may already have some experience of working with children as a therapy assistant and want to progress further or maybe working within education and looking for your next challenge. We would also encourage applications from anyone who has a caring/physical health background and a real desire to learn, transfer and develop their skills further within Children's Therapy.
Lancashire and South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust is an exciting place to work as a Physiotherapy Assistant. We have sound professional structures to lead and inspire our Physiotherapy workforce. The Children's Therapy Service is a community service that is commissioned for ages 0-19. We provide opportunities to develop skills and experience across four specialist pathways in MSK, Early Years, Coordination Difficulties and Long Term Conditions, all of which are driven by strong clinical leadership. We operate across a variety of community settings including special and mainstream schools, clinics, and within a home setting.
