Candidates need to have broad MSK skills and be interested in personal and service development.
As an organisation, we are known for providing support for post-graduate education, including MSc level courses.
We are actively engaged in research, leading in trials with Oxford University and the NIHR. We also have close multi-disciplinary working with other services in the acute trust and with the MSK Advanced Practitioner Service.
Full or part time applicants considered.
To support leadership and work within the Therapy team in MSK Outpatients, providing an effective and evidence-based service through assessing, planning and implementing treatment programmes.
To deliver therapeutic intervention, acting as a specialist clinician in MSK Outpatients, by using the principles of Physiotherapy in an integrated and client-centred way.
To assume responsibility for personal development and supporting the development and supervision of others by CPD (continuing professional development), linked to appraisal.
To support evaluation and service development in the clinical area in line with national and local drivers.
The Therapy service provides physiotherapy and occupational therapy to inpatients and outpatients at Gloucestershire Royal and Cheltenham General Hospitals. We are an integrated service providing patient centred care. Our mission is to ‘enable people to maximise their potential to live well’
