About the role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Principle Partnership Manager (Pharma & Healthcare). Based in UCL Innovation and Enterprise, the post holder will support the delivery of the UCL strategy for business engagement in the life sciences and biomedical sector.
The role will involve working closely with a group of senior colleagues within UCL, including the Vice-Provost (Research, Innovation & Global Engagement) (RIGE), and the Director of Business and Innovation Partnerships, Innovation and Enterprise (I&E) to develop partnerships with companies and organisations active in the life sciences and healthcare sectors. A key aspect of the role will be to liaise with Vice Deans Enterprise and other staff from across UCL that operate in business-facing roles to deliver on the UCL strategy for partnerships with companies active in those as well as in adjacent sectors.

About you
Applicants should have previous experience of working in the biomedical sector, and knowledge of the role that universities play in providing support to companies active in this area to drive forward innovation.
A broad understanding of major disease areas and therapeutic modalities/approaches (including Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning applications in life sciences) is highly desirable. The ability to analyse information and data to extract, develop and present meaningful intelligence is also key.
The successful candidate will possess excellent organisational skills, along with the ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities. Candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability and confidence in working effectively on their own initiative and also as part of a team. The role holder will possess well developed interpersonal and written communication skills, with the ability to liaise with people at all levels of seniority.
