What’s the Job?

Reporting into the Head of Account Management and Partnerships Manager for Rugby and Cricket, the ideal candidate will be responsible for the management and delivery of key team partnerships across cricket and rugby, with further opportunities in a variety of other sports, activation, marketing, and account management purposes.

They will also be tasked with maintaining a proactive relationship with their clubs, including regular updates, catch-ups, and site visits.

The Senior Partnerships Executive will take knowledge from the partnership to create and drive the marketing plans for the season. Working in collaboration with the partner and key Castore teams to own the maximisation of activation rights to benefit the positional and commercial goals of the business.

What will I do?

Account Management

  • Working alongside the supply chain, product development, design and merchandise teams, the Partnership Manager is responsible for ensuring the full delivery of the partner’s critical paths so that deadlines are respected.
  • Responsible for managing the gift of kit (VIK) process with their partners.
  • Responsible for keeping a clear audit trail for all sign offs of partner logos, fabrics, designs, ranges, etc.
  • Responsible for keeping the partners up to date with all matters relating to products, designs, orders, deliveries, etc.
  • Main day-to-day contact and relationship manager with selected team partnerships for marketing & activation.
  • Maintaining a proactive relationship with your partners, including regular updates, catch-ups and site visits.
  • Analysing partner mid/end of season reports (incl. media values) and presenting internal action plan for the following season
  • Supporting the Director of Partnerships with business development tasks (market research, lead generation, cold calling, etc.)
  • Keeping up with industry trends and standards, with being innovative at the forefront of your thinking.

Marketing / Activation


  • Responsible for delivering contracted partnership rights with your teams/athletes, ensuring these are maximised and generate ROI.
  • Responsible for putting together tailored activation plans for your teams/athletes which need to be leveraged across all Castore channels.
  • Responsible for putting together case studies after key activations analysing the impact on data generation and sales when relevant, working together with the digital team.
  • Create, own, and implement the marketing plan to deliver the Partner and Castore marketing strategy.
  • Create and own multi-channel marketing campaigns that excite consumers and drive brand awareness.
  • Recognise consumer trends and generate ideas for the commercial calendar, for example, Black Friday, sport fixtures, Christmas.
  • Carry out regular competitor analysis and provide marketing performance reports to Senior Stakeholders suggesting ideas for improvement.
  • Working in collaboration with key stakeholders, grow relevant activity across suitable social platforms such as, Facebook, Instagram and tick tock and increase customer engagement.
  • Generate captivating content ideas with the wider team
  • Work together with various teams such as CRM, creative, sales, and product to put in place strategies.

What skills and qualities will I need?

A minimum of 2 years previous industry experience, managing partnership activation with rights holders, brands or agencies

Reference letters required

  • Previous experience in managing multiple B2C multichannel marketing campaigns
  • Commercially savvy and performance motivated
  • Capability to engage, challenge and influence stakeholders
  • An enthusiastic self-starter, excellent communicator, and creative thinker
  • Organised and able to work to deadlines
  • Analytical abilities to be able to really evaluate a campaign and report on its performance
  • Competent with Microsoft office software Including Microsoft Excel
