Full time – Permanent
Salary – £56,900 inclusive of shift allowance plus competitive benefits package including pension, shares scheme and bonus!

About the role
As a Senior Operator within our hard-working team at Glenkinchie you’ll play a pivotal role in the whisky production process and will oversee and control all site process and ancillary activities.
You’ll monitor and optimise our production processes to maximise our performance always.
Health and safety compliance is key and you’ll be at the forefront of making sure this is monitored alongside other Key Performance Indicator’s and targets including production quality, production efficiency, energy management, production planning and cost efficiency.
The role will cover a 7-day rota across nightshift backshift & dayshift on a full time basis, providing on-site support to the distillery however flexibility is key to success in our business and many of our staff work flexibly in many different ways. About you
We’re looking for someone who can work well within a team as well as the ability to make effective decisions and thrive in situations where they can solve problems.
You’ll be able to push forward your own ideas about improvements to current approaches and appraise new opportunities. You’ll have the drive to make a positive difference to manufacturing excellence and show your excellent communication skills.
You’ll have demonstrable knowledge of Health and Safety legislation and environmental risk principles.
You’re going to be responsible for automated production recording and management reporting systems and so you’ll have proven IT skills.
Processing or manufacturing experience would be beneficial but not essential!
