The Role
Working for a leading Russell Group London university, the role of the Senior Operations Manager is to lead on the operational plan for our Venues and support the Head of Commercial Services with wider commercial operations across all properties.
Responsible for a team of event managers led by the Senior Events Manager, you will be responsible for setting up safe procedures for events, delegates, and staff when on the premises and must ensure all operating procedures and risk management measures are always adhered to.
The post holder will be involved in the strategic development of prime spaces and the various other sites. The post holder will also play a key part in the development and safe operation of all filming and establish a Filming Strategy together with the Senior Sales & Marketing Manager.
They must maintain close liaison with all internal stakeholders regarding the safe operation across all commercial activities on campus.
About You
We are seeking an individual with demonstrable experience of leading customer-focused venue or event operations. You will have extensive experience of leading and managing teams, and experience in stakeholder management, writing SOP’s as well as an understanding of licensing requirements.
