Studio Production produces world-class visual assets for NET-A-PORTER, MR PORTER, YOOX, THE OUTNET and ONLINE FLAGSHIP STORES Powered by YOOX NET-A-PORTER GROUP. Operating from our London HQ and US studio in New Jersey as well as Italian centres for excellences, our team includes Studio Coordinators, Product Library, Styling, Size and Fit, Photography, Video, Retouch, Product Editorial and Translations teams, with many working across a combination of all Group’s websites each week.
The Styling team are now seeking a talented Senior Online Stylist to join the team based in our offices in London. Reporting into the Global Online Styling Editor, you will be tasked with bringing the NET-A-PORTER repertoire of products to life. You will use innovative and eye catching styling and thereby constantly improve the shopping experience at NET-A-PORTER.
Location: Our Westfield Office in Shepherd's Bush
Hours: 4 days a week from Monday-Friday - 37.5 hours
Reporting into: UK Online Styling Editor

Here is a breakdown of what you’ll be doing:
- Create and style inspiring, on-brand, on-trend, editorially-relevant outfits for 50+ products per day including all accessory and jewellery options which will entice customers and showcase our products in their best light.
- Present styled rail to Online Styling Editor for approval on a daily basis. Styled rail should have minimal changes and frequently feature slow selling products in outfits with little product repetition.
- Once fully competent, work towards conduct outfit checks and provide contact feedback, supporting the Online Styling Editor when needed.
- Check, review and sign off on own product images prior to going live.
- Provide support and guidance to on-set team; including assistant, photographer and models to deliver all online product imagery that accurately depicts clothing and is styled according to NET-A-PORTER house standards.
- Work with photographer and model on-set to co-direct and select best poses.
- Continuously evaluate model poses, product representation and editorial / retail landscape to ensure NET-A-PORTER is the leader for online styling.
- Own key areas and projects that support the business whilst maintaining core job role.
- Be proactive in suggesting improvements to studio processes and assist the Online Styling Editor and the Studio Production Manager with implementation.
- Maintain strong and up-to-date knowledge of designers, brands, trends and NET-A-PORTER editorial.
- Attend trend presentations and designer clinics to ensure consistency of style and support buying strategy.
- Ensure no more than 2% of your images are reshot per week, with 100% accurate product representation.
- Be accountable for own reshoots and coordinate as required.
- Meet image deadlines for weekly uploads.
- Resolve complex issues when relevant and communicate workflow status and concerns to Studio Production Manager and Studio Production Coordinators.
- Work with other members of the Studio production team to ensure the photo studio is organized and ordered.
- Ensure Sample stock is not mishandled.
- Provide guidance and support to Online Styling Assistants and junior members of the team.
- Be a key go-to person in the Studio as a positive representative of the Online Styling team in the absence of the Online Styling Editor.
- Have ability to meet with various departments within the business and represent the Online Styling team in a professional and collaborative manner styling across business channels.
The type of person we are looking for:
- Significant styling experience in an editorial/luxury fashion environment.
- Experience working with models.
- A strong and thorough knowledge of luxury designers & brands (including brand pairings).
- A real sense of runway looks and what trends are happening each season.
- Strong fashion and styling sense with the ability to incorporate new fashion trends.
- Ability to demonstrate flair and individuality combined with awareness of NET-A-PORTER house style & customer.
- Proven experience of working in a collaborative and professional manner with members of your own team and the wider business.
- Proven experience in providing guidance and support to others in a professional setting.
- Ability to work well under pressure as part of a team in a fast paced environment.
- Proven ability to work to stringent deadlines and exceptional eye for detail.
- An excellent work ethic.
- Pro-activity and ability to show initiative.
