Key responsibilities of the role include:

Managing the Skilled Worker visa application process:
- Liaising with candidates, the business and our external immigration lawyers to collate documentation and process skilled worker visa applications
- Advising the business on queries on visa costs, timeframes and sponsorship obligations
- Holding initiation calls with all skilled worker applicants to explain the process, timeframes and legal obligations
- Issuing repayment agreements to all Skilled Workers and ensuring signed copies are retained on file
- Being the escalation point for RTW queries, where necessary and supporting the wider immigration team
- Being point of contact for UK immigration queries from employees/candidates
- Managing repayment of costs in the event a skilled worker leaves/switches visa route
- Complete references to support immigration applications, including (but not limited to) Indefinite Leave to Remain, visitor visas, BRP applications
- Advise on and monitor right to work requirements as part of remote working requests

Support EUNA Immigration Lead with:
- Continuously reviewing processes and looking for ways to work more efficiently
- Creating and updating guidance documents and resources
- Training the wider people community, the business and RTW checkers
- Leading monthly immigration champion calls
- Support HRBPs and the business with managing any cases where it may be identified that an individual does not have the right to work in the UK
- Support implementation of new processes which may be introduced in future, including Indefinite Leave to Remain support
Candidate Specification
- Have an interest in immigration and want to pursue a longer-term career in driving governance and compliance
- Willingness to drive continuous improvement
- Proactive in addressing challenging/complex situations
- Strong administrative skills and take pride in delivering tasks to a high standard
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Good presentation skills
- Excellent organisation and time management skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage your own workload and identify ways to improve efficiency
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to complete tasks accurately when delivering to tight deadlines
- Ability to complete repetitive tasks in an organised and methodical way
- Strong initiative, and capable of making independent judgements where appropriate
- Flexibility and willingness to manage unexpected or complex circumstances
- Proficient knowledge and experience of using Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint
- The ability to learn new information and IT systems quickly and proficiently
- Knowledge of UK immigration legislation, particularly in the areas of Skilled Worker visas, right to work checks and sponsorship obligations
- Knowledge of the General Data Protection Regulations (preferable)
