Are you an Occupational Therapy Assistant looking to work with children with additional and complex needs?
Children's Therapy Services, Greater Preston team is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Occupational Therapy Assistant. The Children's Therapy Team provides an excellent opportunity to work alongside dedicated professionals providing high quality care to reduce the impact of disability to children and their families.
We work with children and young people aged 0- 19 with well developed and evidenced based pathways covering the needs of children with Long Term, Time Limited and Early Years related needs.
The team comprises of occupational therapists, physiotherapists & speech therapists. We work closely with colleagues in health, education and social care to provide a genuinely child-centred service. We work in a variety of locations, including clinics, children's own homes, nurseries and schools.
We can offer clinical and management supervision, specialist support by experienced senior staff, continuing professional development and specialist OT Forums. The successful candidate must be able to effectively manage their own time, and demonstrate excellent communication skills.
The Children's Therapy Team has a strong network of Clinical Leads and a Professional Lead for Children's OT. An interest in working with children and their families is essential.
