More Rehab are looking to recruit an Experienced Neurological Speech & Language Therapist to work based in our Sheffield clinic. We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to offer a high level of clinical care, helping clients to achieve their goals with compassion and integrity.

More Rehab is a well-established rehabilitation service which provides high quality, effective multidisciplinary therapy to patients (both adult and children) who require specialised neurological, musculoskeletal and respiratory care. We are also proud to have strong links with many companies and providers around our regions, have access to assessment tools and treatment aids to assist with delivery of rehabilitation. Our Sheffield clinic boasts a sensory room, soft skills/quiet suite, multiple consulting rooms and larger rooms for groups and meetings as well as staff facilities which can be utilised for programmes.

The role will be on a full time employed basis (part time applications considered) and will include work with medicolegal, private insurance and self-funding patients. The role may involve traveling within the community so access to your own car is required. You will work in partnership with our other services (Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists and Rehab Assistants) to offer comprehensive and treatment packages to clients. You will be supported by our senior clinical and managerial teams, and a full comprehensive induction will be given to clinics, equipment and IT software. There is a full programme of in-service training and career progression and development is supported throughout the teams.

The successful candidate will demonstrate – at least 3 years Neuro specific experience, be HCPC registered, have excellent communication skills, have good IT skills and be keen to work as part of a team. They will also need to be able to demonstrate recent relevant CPD being undertaken.

Key Requirements:

  • BSc Hons Speech and Language
  • HCPC registration
  • Full UK driving License with access to own vehicle
  • 3 years neurology experience or evidence of transferable skills
  • Good caseload management skills

Job Package:

  • Salary: £26-£38K
  • AL: 28 days (including BH)
  • Company Pension (after successful probationary period)
  • In-Service training and clinical mentorship with Senior speech and language therapists
  • Support with CPD activities
