Newton Colmore Consulting is working with a biotechnology innovator in Cambridge and is searching for an experienced microbiologist to join their team.
As a microbiologist you will be charged with leading scientific research and creating novel solutions to several industrial bioprocessing challenges. This can range from working on biology-based sensors that use living organisms, through to utilising synthetic biology for fully automated high protein animal feed production.
You will be using your experience to work on technologies from initial ideation, through to delivery and manufacture. You will take charge of the full development process and will be working closely with a multidisciplinary team, all aiming to make a step change with new ideas.

To be considered for this exciting role you will need to have an understanding of research and development projects within bioprocessing. This will need to be coupled with strong academics and ideally with experience with ‘omics and microscopy as well as knowledge of biochemistry.
