We have opportunities across Wigan and Leigh for Senior Mental Health Practitioners.
The Team consist of experienced multi disciplinary colleagues, including Psychiatrists, SNP's, O/T's and Psychologists, all working to a Recovery based approach. You will have ongoing supervision, with opportunities to develop via relevant training, appropriate to this role.
The role within the team will allow you to develop skills in both assessment and risk management, allowing you to deliver care in a variety of settings including outpatient clinics and community environments.

The Team provides care, treatment and support to adults with significant mental health needs, for the Borough of South Wigan and Leigh. You will be required to have experience of working in a similar setting and role. You will undertake the duties of care coordinator, managing a caseload of service users, with complex mental health needs, under the CPA framework.
You would also be involved in managing duty call from adult service users with severe and enduring mental illness, predominantly who are open to the team on Non CPA offering advice and support.
