Zoom is our fast-growing rapid delivery service, delivering convenience without compromise to customers in London and Leeds. With over 10,000 products to choose from, Zoom gives customers more choices than other rapid delivery services, all delivered in less than 60 minutes.
Although we work very closely with our colleagues in Ocado.com, Zoom is its own business, with a separate website and app, and a small dedicated team that looks after ranging, pricing and promotions, the content of the website and app, and marketing. The Role
We only launched Zoom by Ocado in 2019 and gave the brand a complete refresh in 2022, so we’re still finding our feet as a brand and learning about which channels work best for us. So, if you want the chance to own and shape a brand, then this is a great opportunity.
This role has two key responsibilities, firstly working with our in-house creative team to continue to develop the brand, and secondly planning and executing the brand across print, out of home and organic social media.
Reporting to the Zoom senior customer lead, you will work with our in-house creative team to design content and then with our agency partners to plan and book media with the aims of growing brand awareness and ultimately acquiring new customers for Zoom. If you’ve had some exposure to brand development and campaign planning but want to step up to have greater and broader ownership, then this is the role for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with the Zoom Senior Customer Lead to agree budget splits across the year and channels, including phasing and tiering of campaigns
- Work with external agencies to plan and book above the line campaigns across out of home, VOD, audio, display
- Planning and booking print marketing activity including door drops, direct mail, brand to hand. Working with agency and creative team to optimise targeting, format and messaging
- Manage Zoom's campaign calendar, coordinating with commercial team to agree messaging, briefing concepts to creative and liaising with the rest of the customer team to bring the campaign to life across all customer touchpoints
- Work with creative on any extensions or developments of the Zoom brand identity
- Ownership over organic social channels, planning and producing content, aligning with trade calendar to convey key messages and working with suppliers
Skills & Experience:
- Experience working in campaign planning, preferably with agencies
- Experience or exposure to brand tracking or consumer research an advantage
- Experience in briefing, reviewing and providing feedback on media plans and creative
- Demonstrable passion and interest for brand marketing
- Experience managing organic social media and/or print media would be beneficial
- Demonstrable experience dealing with stakeholders at various levels
- Experience in an ecommerce or retail environment would be beneficial
