The PM CoE supports our audit and assurance practitioners with project coordination and administration. In your role as the Operations Senior Manager, you will lead the operational running of the entire PM CoE, driving process efficiency, consistency and promoting a culture of continuous service improvement. You will be accountable for the financial performance of the Centre and ensuring that resources are deployed in an efficient and effective manner. You will work with senior stakeholders across the business to understand the evolving requirements of the onsite teams, to shape the direction of PM CoE services and ensure that the PM CoE provides a high-quality service. In addition, you will play a prominent role in the PM CoE supportive culture, developing and coaching the more junior management levels to realise their potential

Key responsibilities include:
- Responsible for overall operational running of the Centre, including but not limited to resource management; financial planning, monitoring and performance; departmental productivity; and recruitment
- Ensuring the implementation and delivery of robust processes alongside continued identification and implementation of service and process improvements
- Reporting to senior leadership on operational performance of the Centre
- Work with senior stakeholders and business partners to understand the business need within Audit and Assurance to drive growth and Centre brand
You will work as part of an established and structured team within a department that continues to grow at speed. The right person for this role will have:
- Significant management and operational experience at a senior level, including being a key decision maker for overall operational decisions, with the ability to think strategically
- Ability to adapt and lead change in a fast paced environment
- Strong people leadership experience coaching and mentoring more junior team members through their career pathway, managing performance and development discussions
- Experience in managing stakeholders and reporting to senior leadership
- Ideally experience in change/project management

Personal independence
Regulation and controls are standard practice in our industry and Deloitte is no exception. These controls provide important legal protection for both you and the firm. We are subject to a number of audit regulations, one of which requires that certain colleagues abide by specific personal independence constraints. This can mean that you and your "Immediate Family Members" are not permitted to hold certain financial interests (shares, funds, bonds etc.) with audit clients of the firm.
