The role:
In this role, you’ll provide the key day-to-day support and counsel to the Chief Digital Officer as well as the senior leadership team, helping shape and influence strategic initiatives, influence and support the people agenda and culture pillars, contribute to team leadership, develop relationships cross a varied, multi-divisional and senior group, and facilitate timely and robust decision making, to drive the delivery of strategic outputs.
The Chief Digital Office (CDO) is a fast paced and varied environment where we balance multiple competing priorities. Being able to influence and collaborate with key partners is a critical element of the role.
What you'll be doing:
This is a broad role requiring the ability to prioritise demands in a fast paced environment, balancing time-pressured work with longer-term activities in order to ensure effective day to day management of the office, workflow and record keeping

The role:

What you'll be doing:
This is a broad role requiring the ability to prioritise demands in a fast paced environment, balancing time-pressured work with longer-term activities in order to ensure effective day to day management of the office, workflow and record keeping
- Advising on a diverse range of topics including review and critique of papers and other meeting materials, navigating and escalating emerging issues and using sound judgement to screen and redirect incoming requests as appropriate
- Responsible for producing up to GEC level papers on the CDO agenda; helping to drive the strategic narrative, coordinating and challenging inputs to deliver high quality outputs
- Work collaboratively with comms and engagement team and our people partners to support and promote the people agenda and colleague engagement, identifying and implementing opportunities for positive culture change – This can include being involved in creating exciting social media content for Yammer & LinkedIn!
What we're looking for:
Essential:
- Strong communication, planning and organisational skills and attention to detail
- Flexible, reliable, and adaptable to working in a changing environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels quickly
- Digital advocacy – passionate believer in digital as a force for good
- An understanding of digital and mobile banking services
- Operate in a pragmatic, collaborative and action orientated manner
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including ability to produce high quality PowerPoint presentations
- Ability to take ownership, challenge where needed and exercise good judgement
- Work confidently under pressure in a fast-paced environment and the ability to learn new things quickly
