The Chief Security Office (CSO) plays a vital role in delivering Lloyds Banking Group's vision of putting customers at the heart of everything we do, helping Britain prosper, and protecting the Group and its customers and suppliers from security threats. It's responsible for defining and communicating the Group's security strategy and providing dedicated support and constructive challenge to business areas to ensure the delivery of an effective and compliant security risk management framework.
Threat Intelligence Lab
The Threat Intelligence Lab is responsible for the collection, analysis, enrichment and dissemination of strategic, operational, tactical and technical intelligence in order to protect the bank and its customers from external threats. Intelligence supports the continual strengthening of controls, using the assessment of threats to influence group wide security strategies and risk management decisions.
The role
This Operational Senior Manager role will lead diverse teams involved in the collection, analysis and dissemination of strategic, operational, tactical and technical intelligence. The enriched intelligence is used to help defend the Group against threats, supporting the continual strengthening of controls. The role-holder will also contribute to the development of the Group’s intelligence capability, ensure compliance with policies and procedures and contribute to Group wide intelligence strategies.
Responsibilities include:
- Leading and developing multiple teams responsible for the delivery of high quality intelligence. Coaching and mentoring colleagues to achieve their best.
- Harnessing a range of insight and external trends to influence leadership’s views on business decisions, strategic goals and investment priorities.
- Driving intelligence collaboration internally and across the financial sector to solve shared challenges.
- Balancing multiple demands and opposing priorities in a fast paced, dynamic and challenging environment to support resilience and security decision making.
- Positively demonstrating our core values and behaviours. Ensuring compliance with laws, polices and procedures.
- Supporting the continual enhancement of intelligence capabilities to deliver against changing priorities.
What we're looking for…
Essential
- Proven track record in leading, motivating and developing multi-disciplined teams with both technical (cyber) and non-technical capabilities.
- Significant experience with intelligence and incident response ideally gained in the finance sector, broader business or an external environment such as government or law enforcement.
- The ability to prioritise, task and coordinate team activity, monitoring performance and assuring compliance with policies and procedures.
- Validated understanding of cyber trends and risk environments both internally and externally.
- Able to work flexibly and at pace with strong decision making skills and a background in delivering operational outputs.
- Tried ability to collaborate and build effective relationships internally as well as across the finance sector, broader industry, law enforcement and government with a good network of contacts.
Desirable
- Experience in senior management, leading multiple teams with diverse responsibilities and a broad skillset.
- An understanding of intelligence tooling with experience of managing vendor and partner relationships.
- Hold or the ability to obtain Government Security Clearance.
