Job Summary:
The IT Sr Manager of Network and System Services will be an instrumental role for the success of IT and enabling IEM to achieve its mission and vision. The network and systems infrastructure environment will be in the hands of this leader to ensure the services are available and performing to meet the needs of the business. We are looking for an experienced technical leader to oversee our day-to-day network and systems operations. In this role, you will collaborate with other members of the Infrastructure and IT Security staff to ensure IT services are running properly. This leader will be responsible for identifying and resolving incidents and issues impacting these services. The Leader will develop and implement service improvements for sustainable health and performance of the platforms. The leader will provide input for strategic decisions, technology roadmap definition and budget planning. Collaboration and teamwork are fundamental working principles and the selected candidate will need to partner with and influence peers and other IT leaders to promote his/her ideas.
This will also be a hands-on role responsible for effective architecting, designing, provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of network and systems hardware and integrated management solutions.
This individual participates in technical research and development to enable continued innovation as it pertains to IEM infrastructure. This includes ensuring uptime and availability that meets the needs of each business unit and region. The successful candidate will have a demonstrated track record of world class service and support at large, progressive companies who value IT and depend on the reliability of the network and systems environments.
You Will:
● Evaluate the current network and systems environment to identify areas that need to be enhanced or upgraded
● Oversee installation of new hardware and software
● Maintaining the highest level of satisfaction by adhering to IEM standards and SLAs
● Develop and maintain long term network and system operation strategies that will help enhance and achieve long term goals for the company
● Take part in meetings with other experts in the field so as to identify maintenance and upgrade paths to supported versions.
● Carry out the supervision and delivery of projects and modify/tweak systems so as to improve output
● Responsible for the regular review, maintenance, and upgrade of network and system services.
● Install and configure network and system servers and connected devices.
● Develop and maintain installation and configuration procedures and documentation.
● Contribute to and maintain security standards for each platform.
● Secures network by developing network access, monitoring, control, and evaluation. Partnering with IT Security to develop robust security policies and processes.
● Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all network and systems hardware and performance.
● Apply patches and upgrades on a regular basis and upgrade administrative tools and utilities. Configure / add new services as necessary.
● Upgrade and configure network and system software that supports IEM infrastructure applications per project or operational needs.
● Perform ongoing performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization as required.
● Proven ability to act as a product functional and technical expert
● Ability to work flexible hours and a willingness to carry on call support coverage as required
● Monitoring, deploying and maintaining monitoring tools for proactive event detection and alerting.
● Responding to and triaging alerts triggered by automated monitoring tools.
● Perform troubleshooting of issues and write RCA documentation as appropriate
● Collaborate with other IT functions; Provide advisory level services including solution design and architecture support.
● Manage resources including members of external managed services teams.

Skill Qualifications:
● Strong people and leadership skills.
● Strong knowledge of network devices and protocols: Internet routing, Firewall, Core Routers, Switches, WIFI.
● Superior communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills,
● Strong familiarity with Microsoft Server Technology and VMWare.
● Strong cyber-security knowledge.
● Excellent troubleshooting skills with networking and servers.
● Solid exposure to hosting and change management protocols.
● Proven ability to act as a product functional and technical expert.
● Team-wide and cross-functional collaboration skills sufficient to work through challenges collaboratively.
● Technical breadth of experience beneficial for Company's startup-style environment with a focus on cost effective and scalable solutions.
● Self-motivation, and a strong desire to continue to learn and grow technically.
● Excellent attention to detail, especially with respect to project management, IT Team cross-training and documentation.
● Ability to work flexible hours and a willingness to carry a on call phone as required.
● Must have the ability to display a great level of creativity while carrying out daily work routine.
● Ability to travel globally as needed up to 25%.
Experience Qualifications:
● ITIL certification in Foundation is highly desirable.
● Network Administration/Engineer certifications highly desirable.
● 10+ years of network engineering/administration experience for companies with 500+ employees and $500M revenue.
● 10+ years of experience on network devices: Firewalls, Routers, Switches, WIFI, etc.
● 10+ years of hands-on networking protocols, DNS, DHCP, IP address management.
● 10+ years of network performance tuning, LAN Knowledge, Network Design and Implementation.
● 10+yrs experience in system administration of VMware environments running MS Windows and Linux systems.
● Cisco certifications highly desirable, ex: CCNP, CCNA
● Security certifications highly desirable, ex: CISSP
● Educational Requirements:
● Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or relevant software/computer related fields

Pay: $160,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year
