Senior Manager Digital Health and Innovation Strategy

This role will drive the development of GSK’s Digital Health & Innovation Strategy(ies), in partnership with the business, to enable the successful development and launch of priority GSK therapies. This will require influencing and aligning with the strategic direction of GSK’s business priorities to facilitate the introduction and adoption of Digital Health capabilities.
The role will support the futureproofing of Digital Health at GSK, considering and driving operational and industry changes that are required to enable Digital Health technologies to be delivered at scale across the enterprise. All of this in aid of the ambition to supercharge the use of patient data across the value chain to accelerate the delivery of asset milestones and TA strategies and driving better outcomes for patients.
This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career, these responsibilities include some of the following:
Drive development and application of the DH&I Strategy(ies) that support scaling of Digital Health across the enterprise, considering people, process, technology etc., working closely with the other members of the LT, key partners/stakeholders, both internal and external.
Deliver monthly DH&I LT strategy sessions to gather input and drive decision making
Partner with business functions maintaining close ongoing strategic relationships with stakeholders and partners of the Tech, R&D, Medical and Commercial business units to understand the strategic direction of GSK’s business priorities
Own stakeholder management and alignment and mobilize project teams to ensure those parts of the wider business are bought into and behind an opportunity, are clear on objectives, output and next steps and are inspired by what could be achieved and value it could bring
Manage and maintain key close relationships with DH&I Product teams aligning to objectives, challenging strategy to ensure DH&I can deliver on disruptive Digital Health opportunities
Partner with DH&I Product Area Leads to leverage joint opportunities, share learnings and brief broader DH&I team dependent on project requirements to ensure deliverables are met in a timely manner
Work in close partnership with DH&I Product Area Leads and peers to help ideate on digital health value propositions, define business models, and develop clear & impactful strategies for new product offerings aligned to GSK TAs and priority assets
Contribute to the strategic direction setting and project prioritization for the business units
Drive new ways of thinking, bringing in trends from inside and outside the industry
Identify new potential partners or suppliers the DH&I team could work with, articulate approach and benefit for wider DH&I alignment
Share work to date and insights in team stand-ups
Why You?
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
Minimum bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Science, Business, Computer Science, or related field
Experience in Life Science industry with a solid understanding of Drug Discovery and Development
Experience Digital Health, Data, Analytics, AI, Machine Learning in a Life Science/ healthcare setting and knowledge of the regulatory landscape
Experience in successful delivery of projects in a Strategy Consulting role or Operations at a start-up e.g., operating model strategies, organizational change management, structured analysis, business case development and creating actionable plans to implement strategy
Knowledge of and curiosity about the future of healthcare, digital trends and technology, and their impact on design solutions
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Strong organizational and time management skills
Experience in presenting to and interacting with senior management
