Clients and Industries (C&I) is 300-strong enabling function of varied disciplines, with a common purpose of enhancing Deloitte’s reputation, relationships and revenue in the market.

The Client Relationship Executive (CRE) plays a pivotal role, working alongside the Lead Client Service Partner (LCSP) to bring the best of Deloitte to our clients. Our CREs focus on priority accounts which are often sophisticated and complex in their nature, industry-leading or ‘house-hold’ names, and are a mix of regional, national and global in their footprint. CREs develop strength and depth in relationships, and partner with the client and account team to leverage opportunities for growth.

  • Regularly interacting and relationship building with client stakeholders and influencers/buyers; identifying and offering insights, thought leadership and points of view to the client to maintain and further develop client relationships.
  • Work with the account team to develop and deliver against the strategic ambition, understanding the needs of the client(s), industry trends, and the full suite of offerings and ways in which we serve our clients.
  • Leading knowledge sharing amongst the team and providing team coaching on client challenges and trends; bringing the account team together to best serve our client(s)
  • Leveraging stakeholder relationships to drive action and be the focal point of communications and activity on the account
  • Reviewing and sharing information on client buying and the competitor landscape; maintaining financial oversight and reporting for the account; supporting in the development of an annual business plan and building knowledge of alternative pricing and delivery models.
  • Appropriately and effectively monitor the risk profile on the account(s) to which you are aligned and ensure effective compliance with contractual obligations
  • Sharing best practice and enhancing the CRE community and contributing to the enhancement of the industry and sector community by sharing client insights; you represent the ‘voice of the client’ and is imperative we understand and reflect that in all that we do.

Essential

  • Confident in leading teams and collaborating with busy professionals to deliver results with excellent stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent project management skills, with a strong track record of executing projects and initiatives to tight deadlines
  • Strong emotional intelligence, demonstrable success in building rapport and credibility with a range of people at different levels of seniority
  • Quantitatively literate, confident with financial reporting and seeing the ‘story behind the numbers’ and identifying trends
  • Proficient in Office 365 tools including leveraging intelligence through CRM systems
  • Experienced in working within or have a good understanding of our UK Defence industry
  • Educated to degree level, or equivalent

Desirable

  • Experience in a client relationship management role
  • Professional services experience or knowledge of large, global, matrix style partnership organisations
  • Project management qualifications
  • Strategy & Operations or Engagement experience
  • Knowledge of procurement, pricing and contracting
