Job description
Experience: 4-7 years
Linux Administration
1 - Basic Linux admin skills. We have servers in our US device farm which run on Linux and we need people to upkeep them. Generally, people who are good in AWS, they know Linux very well as that’s the base OS of AWS.
2 - Shell scripting.
3 - Android on Linux servers – hosting and troubleshooting Android emulators on Linux. (Could have)
Networking
1 - Understanding of IP addresses, subnets, routers, switches, network configuration
2 - Understanding of firewall, VPN site to site tunnels
3 - NAT Gateways
Troubleshooting
1 - This is applicable to both the points above( AWS and Linux).
2 - General ability to troubleshoot and especially in AWS. Ex: Checking ELK logs, checking VPC flow logs to understand problems and do troubleshooting at a L1 level
