Job Information
As a Senior Library Assistant you will be at the forefront of delivering and promoting a range of services to customers of all ages, abilities and backgrounds. You will be involved in dealing with enquiries, assisting customers with using digital technology and delivering library based activities. You will also be responsible for supervising small numbers of staff. The duties will also involve dealing with administrative tasks and undertaking the day to day supervision of staff within the library including allocating day to day workloads, and assisting with training and development
To be successful in the role you will ideally have previous public library experience but more importantly it will be your significant face-to-face customer service experience that will set you apart.

- demonstrate experience and confidence in using Information and digital technology;
- deliver activities to a range of customers including children and young people;
- Work alternate Saturdays and have a flexible approach to working hours
