We are recruiting to the new role of Senior Library and Archive Assistant. Based in one of our community libraries, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of day-to-day operations, services, and activities. You will supervise a small team, support customers, organise events and activities and engage with your local area to ensure that the library is at the heart of the community.
You will have a passion for reading, outstanding customer services skills and a high level of I.T. knowledge. You will work closely with Library and Archive Assistants, other Senior Library and Archive Assistants and Library and Archive Officers to deliver exceptional library services to Sheffield’s communities.
Posts are available on a 34 hour per week basis, working Mon – Wed and Fri – Sat. We can also consider posts on either a 28 or 18.5 hour per week basis, in line with our standard hours of work.
