Lincoln School of Design seeks an inspirational and dynamic Senior Lecturer in Graphic Design to develop and deliver industry relevant, future-facing and supportive teaching. It is expected that the successful candidate will have an extensive background in Graphic Design, with expertise across both traditional and digital methodology, and new and emerging areas of practice.
You will join the Lincoln School of Design, which offers a dynamic learning culture where students are empowered to explore their creativity in a supportive studio-based environment, learning from, and working alongside, experienced industry practitioners in purpose-built specialist studios, labs, and technical facilities. Our graduates are creative, capable of delivering sustainable and responsible innovation, and leading meaningful change in response to global challenges.
The School is currently undergoing exciting transformative change, with ambitious new curricula and a clear vision for industry engaged and future-focussed design education. We are developing two new programmes in this subject area and the successful applicant will have the opportunity to lead both curriculum development and new programme implementation.
Assuming the role of Programme Leader, this is an exciting opportunity for you to contribute to the future of an aspirational design school and enhance the student experience. Being appointed to a permanent role in the School as a Senior Lecturer, the successful applicant will serve as the Programme Leader of the Graphic Design subject area for 3 years, with the possibility of extension subject to mutual agreement.
You will have experience in delivering transformative teaching and innovative curriculum and pedagogical development and have an established practitioner profile in a relevant field. A passion for design education and supporting students to achieve their full potential is essential.
