Job description
We are currently seeking a Lock Spinner or individuals interested in training for the position of Lock Spinner at our thriving lock manufacturing company in Willenhall.
This is a fast-paced and repetitive position that requires you to maintain pace throughout the day, please keep this in mind when applying.
The role does pay a bonus for hitting targets and candidates can earn up to £15 per hour.
Responsibilities:
- Operate a spinning machine to insert small rivets into lock mechanisms. The machine is foot-pedal operated.
- Receive comprehensive training on machine operation.
- Meet hourly, daily, and weekly production targets.
Requirements:
- Strong work ethic and a drive to exceed targets.
- Familiarity with repetitive tasks.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Previous experience in assembly, machine operation, or working towards targets is beneficial but not mandatory.
Working Hours:
- Monday to Thursday: 8am to 5pm
- Friday: 8am to 1pm
Compensation:
Training rate: £10.42 per hour, plus piecework rates from day one.
£10.42per hour after 12 weeks, plus potential earnings of over £14 to £15 per hour through piecework.
