Senior Internal Communications Manager - Digital Channels and Campaigns
12-month maternity cover contract
Office Location: London, White City with hybrid working: 2-3 days per week in office
Open to part time work whether it be 4 days per week, 4.5 days per week or a 9 day fortnight

The Internal Communications team brings our More than TV strategy to life for our colleagues around the world. With the evolution of our strategy picking up pace, and a focus on cultural change and digital transformation, we’re looking for an experienced Internal Communications Manager to join the team to help deliver our strategic vision. This role entails…
This role will be central to driving change throughout our business. A large focus of this Senior Internal Communications Manager role is managing a team of three colleagues responsible for People and Social Purpose campaigns, as well as our digital internal comms channels. Additionally, this role business partners with the Management Board Director for Diversity and Inclusion.
You will lead, manage and develop new and existing internal communication channels, partnering closely with business stakeholders, providing internal communications best practice advice, planning and delivery for ITV initiatives and projects. And you'll also be developing engaging content that’s simple and inline with the ITV branding and tone of voice, so it lands with our internal audience.
To be considered for this opportunity you will need to demonstrate the following skills. Minimum role criteria:
- A strong and experienced internal communications all rounder with a strong grasp of strategic internal comms and digital internal comms channels, including social intranets, email newsletters and video.
- Experience using colleague insights to review existing comms channels and develop a channels strategy, making recommendations for improvement using insight and measurement.
- Experience delivering creative, engaging and innovative communication plans, campaigns and content that achieve stakeholders’ objectives and land in the business in the right way, at the right time.
- Absolute attention to detail and copywriting and proofing skills.
- Experience of managing small to large events, both face to face and online.

- Line management experience.
- Desired experience of launching an enterprise social platform.
- Both a creative flair and strong process driven planning and project management capability, managing multiple projects at once, sometimes with tight deadlines
- A strong sense of how to engage our internal audience.
- Great communication skills, whether you’re talking to someone or writing to them.
- Experience of working with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Ability to develop strong, collaborative relationships at all levels.
- Brilliant writing skills, writing copy that engages and inspires.
