Job brief
In this role, you will play a key role in providing authoritative advice to senior management and be responsible to take ownership of all HR matters across the company from overseeing the recruitment process, designing company policies and setting objectives for the HR team. You will also help shape employer brand strategy.
The ideal candidate will have experience in HR or employee recruitment, with a thorough understanding of HR policies and procedures as the bulk of the role will involve developing and refining HR system. In delivering this role efficiently and effectively, you will be expected to exercise good judgement and to use initiative in being proactive. The role requires excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skills and someone with the ability to manage their own time and workload to deliver all outcomes on time with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
- Overseeing recruitment, selection and the onboarding process
- Ensuring that a company’s procedures comply with employment regulations
- Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, disciplinary procedures or other issues
- Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance
- Setting and reviewing pay structures and employee perks and benefit
- Report to Head of Operations and provide decision support through HR metrics
- Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management
- Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs
- Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and preservation of human capital
- Manage Engineering Recruiter
- Monitor Visa Applications process
Essential requirements
- Good general education, preferably at BSc/MSc level
- Proven working experience as HR Manager/Officer or other HR Executive
- Excellent knowledge of HR systems and databases
- Ability to architect HR strategy
- People oriented and results driven
- Demonstrable experience with Human Resources metrics
- Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills
- Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
- In-depth knowledge of labour law and HR best practices
Desirable
- Degree in Human Resources or related field
- Interest in AI, AI Ethics and Regulations.
This role is permanent. It can be offered on a full time or part time basis. We are based in London (Soho Square). We offer hybrid working, an occupational pension scheme, generous annual leave and excellent development opportunities.
Salary range: £45.000 – 55.000
