My client, a contemporary London law firm with an excellent reputation in the industry, they are now looking for a positive and dedicated Senior HR Advisor to join their HR department on a permanent basis in their fast-paced London office.
This role will suit an experienced HR Advisor looking to take the next step in their career.
As a Senior HR Advisor, your role will be to deliver HR support and advice to partners and managers for allocated teams, build strong and effective relationships and be the first point of HR contact for while having responsibility to lead on various HR projects
Key Duties Include:
- Understanding and advising on recruitment needs. Preparing job specifications, liaising with recruitment agents, conducting interviews and preparing offer paperwork.
- Providing excellent commercial advice and support to managers and partners on employee relations issues.
- Reviewing progress and development of new joiners throughout probationary periods.
- Conducting exit interviews with leavers, seeking feedback to understand any issues or trends.
- Regularly analysing sickness and absence trends and proactively addressing any issues.
- Managing the internal HR System, ensuring data is up to date and using to compile data and reports.
- Assisting the Learning and Development Manager on an ad – hoc basis.
The Senior HR Advisor will have a strong understanding of employment law, employee statutory rights, the Equality Act, ACAS codes of practice, etc. The right candidate will be commercially aware, have strong attention to detail, accuracy, communication and team working skills. The right candidate will be resilient, with the ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities and deadlines. They will also be confident, pro-active with strong emotional intelligence.
