Overall purpose of the role:

ISS provide a comprehensive housekeeping and associated services support function to Linklaters at their London HQ in Silk Street. The purpose of the Senior Housekeeping Associate role is to support and assist their line manager the Housekeeping Associate Manager and own responsibility for leading the housekeeping teams to deliver key and quality operational housekeeping services to the customer base. As a key member of the Management Team the role takes direct ownership for the Operational management of the housekeeping teams and the delivery of service. In the absence of the Housekeeping Associate Manager, the Senior Housekeeping Associates act as the primary contact for the customer and the team. Any outstanding issues that the Senior Housekeeping Associate cannot address must be escalated to the Contract Manager without delay. Key to the role is to ensure full operational compliance with both the clients/ISS requirements and statutory obligations. Holding regular meetings with the client/ relevant stakeholders. Objectives of the role: The Senior Housekeeping Associates will manage and ensure full operational delivery of service on a daily basis. The role is mainly site based although movement between London & Colchester sites may be required. The Senior Housekeeping Associate will work alongside a second SHA and between them they will take full responsibility for all operational service delivery despite the time of the day. They will effectively lead their site operational teams structuring process and service delivery. The Senior Housekeeping Associate will assist the Housekeeping Associate Manager in the management of full budgetary control for their area, ensuring targets are adhered to and bringing to attention of the Housekeeping Associate Manager any issues or outstanding anomalies, in addition they will manage and ensure that compliance is effectively delivered in the following areas: Key Responsibilities: Health, Safety and Environment: • To ensure effective management of staff within their control and ensure compliance with all relevant HS&E policies and procedures at all times and to promote best practices with regards to managing staff HSEQ Training and development, correct fit for purpose PPE is worn when necessary, that staff are fully aware of the duty of care to ensure the welfare of themselves and others, and the potential consequence of their acts or omissions. • Create and Maintain a Healthy, Safe, and Secure Environment and ensure compliance with all Health & Safety legislation. • To embed safety together culture in ISS in all account processes. People and Culture • To ensure compliance with all ISS Policies and Procedures in relation to recruitment, sickness and absence management, disciplinary procedures etc. T&A Wages Submission • To work closely with your Line Managers and Business Support Teams to ensure compliance of Wages Submission Policies, Procedures and deadlines. • To monitor the online T&A system and supporting Daily Signing in Sheets which must be sent to the Business Support Teams. • To identify and rectify all anomalies before Locking down and signing off. • To ensure that all new staff or covering staff are on the system as soon as they start working on the Linklaters contract.
