Location - Nationwide
Days of work - Shifts over 7 days a week for a minimum of two weeks at a time.
Hours - These vary by package and will include downtime
We are recruiting a new team of senior live-in carers to work with our complex care clients and their families nationwide.
You must be an experienced live-in carer to apply for this post. You will need to undertake enhanced training in specialist procedures, including airway management, tracheostomy care and PEG management.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a team that moves around the country, helping clients to move home from the hospital and start their care packages. You will work with the client in the first weeks and months while their long-term care team are recruited and trained, and then you will help to ensure a smooth transition and handover before you move on to your next mobilisation.

We have a robust and indepth onboarding process where as a new employee, you'll first complete your training and paid induction. As part of your induction, you will shadow another member of your team. This helps you understand your new role and get to know people in your team.
Your colleagues and management team will work with you during your induction to help you put your training into practice and answer any questions you may have. You'll start building your own support network from day one - this will include your management team, colleagues and departments at Group Support.
Your ongoing development , whether it be studying for an NVQ, refresher or specific clinic training is invested in too.
What we require from candidates:
- Flexibility and Reliability
- Passionate about the care of vulnerable people with various health issues
- A minimum of 6 months of complex care experience and live-in care experience
- Self-motivation and the ability to use your initiative whilst also working as part of a team
We are for a range of clients with varying health conditions including the following:
- Tracheostomy
- Spinal Cord Injury
- Ventilators
- Mental health
- Epilepsy
- Brain Injury
