Job description
We are currently seeking two experienced carers, who will support and buddy each other in their roles, working in Irthlingborough, Higham Ferrers, Rushden, Raunds and the surrounding areas.
These are contracted positions, of which we can offer 30-40 hours average per week, based from home and working in your community.
The basic full-time pro-rota salary for this position is from £17,160 (for 30 hours) to £22,880 (for 40 hours). Plus extra for ad-hoc "On-call" shifts per week.
Shifts are split between 07.00 to 22.00 hrs, with some half shifts and worked on a rotational basis with a fixed day off each week and an alternative weekend.
NOTE: You are paid per shift undertaken and not per care visit undertaken.
You will be paid overtime if you undertake any more than your contracted hours. Additional on-call duties are ad hoc. The pay for the extra on-call shifts are £45 (Monday to Thursday) and £60 (Friday to Sunday) Plus additional pay for bank holiday working.
Position requirements
This role would suit a present Senior Carer in a similar role or an experienced carer who wish to progress in the Social Care sector.
You will need to have the confidence and resilience to lead, support, supervise and spot check a team of carers.
Driving Licence & use of own reliable transport is required, for which a competitive mileage allowance is paid.

Responsibilities
Ensure a high quality of care is adhered to.
Lead, support, supervise and spot check a team of carers.
Undertake administrative on-call and customer care duties.
Ensure all relevant documents, reports and grids are completed.
Cover care calls in planned and emergency situations.
Assist the office team with additional duties and compliance needs.
